Description

Join us for our annual educational event on conservation and the night sky at the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower! This year's Songs and Stars event will be held at Grand Lake Lodge, which is under a conservation easement with Colorado Headwaters Land Trust. Enjoy live music, a catered buffet and cash bar, and presentations and lessons on the value of land conservation for sustaining and protecting our night skies. Our special guest educator is Dave Schlichting from the Grand County Astronomy Club. Bring binoculars or a telescope if you would like - there will be telescopes to use, and plenty to see with just your eyes! Registration is required!
